Embossed Painting and Framing
Tutorial
I so loved the Oil Painting effect that I had to come
Up with my own Painting effect.
So after playing around with some
filters and this and that
I came up with this lovely effect.

Supplies you will need to do this tutorial are:
Jasc Paint Shop Pro (you can download a trial version)Here.

Now that you have all your supplies lets get creating:
Now you can use any Image you like or use the one I used:

right click and save to your
own harddrive
1. Open your image, duplicate it, then minimize your original.
Go to your layer palette and duplicate your image then
right click on your copy layer and click on properties.
Change your Blend Mode to Multiply.
 

Your image will look darker and the colors richer
Now go to Effects/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss
and apply these settings to your Copy of Image Layer.

Layers/Merge Visible.
2. Add a new Raster Layer
Flood Fill that layer with your choice of color from Image
I used #E6C57A.
Now go to Effects/Fantasic Machines/Paint Engine and
apply the Flaky preset.
Here are the settings:

Now lower the Opacity to Layer 2 to 54
so you can see your bottom image show through
Apply Effects/FM Tiles/Blend Emboss again at same settings
Step 3.
Take your Eraser Tool
Make sure you are on Layer 2 and use these settings below:

Take your eraser and erase around the edges of your Image
and inside the image only.
add a drop shadow to your Layer 2 at these settings:
Then apply Effects/Fm Tile Tool/Blend Emboss again. Same Settings
as above.
Nice painting effect huh?
now you are done painting go to Layers/Merge Visible.
**0kay It might be a good idea to save your work just in case Psp
decides to act up on ya.
Go get something to drink or stretch..some chocolate even.**
